This object is the RTU-index component of the RTU table's composite index, identifying a specific RTU configured under a given IEC-101 gateway interface. Admins use it together with telProdNpIec101GWIfcRtuIfcIndex to reference one particular RTU among possibly several sharing a multilink serial line. For example, telProdNpIec101GWIfcRtuIndex 3 identifies the third RTU configured on that interface.
