Description: Set link address for a RTU in multilink mode. RTU link address can not be repeated. If address already exists, then it returns error.
What is telProdNpIec101GWIfcRtuAddress?
This object sets the IEC-101 link address for a specific RTU operating in multilink mode on this interface, and no two RTUs on the same interface can share the same address. Admins configure it to give each RTU sharing a multilink serial line its own unique link-layer address so the gateway can address them individually. For example, setting this to 12 for one RTU and a different value for another lets both RTUs coexist on the same multilink line without address conflicts.
