Module: TEGILE-MIB

OID (symbolic): TEGILE-MIB::cacheSSDReads

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.43906.1.2.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-only

Description: Cache SSD reads

What is cacheSSDReads?

Counts reads satisfied from the SSD cache tier, the second-fastest cache layer behind RAM. Admins compare this to cacheRAMReads and to diskTotalReadIops to see how much of the read workload is being absorbed by flash rather than falling through to spinning disk.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.43906.1.2.9
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TEGILE-MIB::cacheSSDReads

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.43906.1.2.9.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TEGILE-MIB::cacheSSDReads.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cacheSSDReads.1
