Module: TCP-ESTATS-MIB

OID (symbolic): TCP-ESTATS-MIB::tcpEStatsPerfSndLimTransRwin

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.156.1.1.3.1.31

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: ZeroBasedCounter32

Access: read-only

Description: The number of transitions into the 'Receiver Limited' state from either the 'Congestion Limited' or 'Sender Limited' states. This state is entered whenever TCP transmission stops because the sender has filled the announced receiver window, i.e., when SND.NXT has advanced to SND.UNA + SND.WND - 1 as described in RFC 793.

What is tcpEStatsPerfSndLimTransRwin?

Count of times sending stalled specifically because the sender filled the peer's advertised receive window ('Receiver Limited'); frequent transitions here point at the remote receiver, not the network or the local app, as the bottleneck.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.156.1.1.3.1.31
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> TCP-ESTATS-MIB::tcpEStatsPerfSndLimTransRwin

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.156.1.1.3.1.31.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> TCP-ESTATS-MIB::tcpEStatsPerfSndLimTransRwin.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> tcpEStatsPerfSndLimTransRwin.1
