tcpEStatsAppSndNxt
Module: TCP-ESTATS-MIB
OID (symbolic): TCP-ESTATS-MIB::tcpEStatsAppSndNxt
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.156.1.1.6.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Unsigned32
Access: read-only
Description: The value of SND.NXT, the next sequence number to be sent. Note that tcpEStatsAppSndNxt is not monotonic (and thus not a counter) because TCP sometimes retransmits lost data by pulling tcpEStatsAppSndNxt back to the missing data.
What is tcpEStatsAppSndNxt?
The value of SND.NXT, the next sequence number this host will send; unlike a true counter it can move backward when TCP retransmits by pulling SND.NXT back to the missing data, so don't expect it to be strictly increasing.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
