s3LocImageLoadMode

Module: SYNOPTICS-COMMON-MIB

OID (symbolic): SYNOPTICS-COMMON-MIB::s3LocImageLoadMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.2.6.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This indicates whether the agent should get code from the network, use a local image, or try the network first and then fall back to local image if the network boot fails. The localBoot(3) and localAsBackup(4) values apply only to agents with local load option. Note: on agents that have no local storage, either remoteBoot(2), or remoteNoUpdate(5) may be specified, however the value remoteBoot(2) is prefered due to backwards compatibility

What is s3LocImageLoadMode?

Read-write enumerated setting choosing how the agent decides between network and locally-stored firmware images at boot — options range from always using the network and updating the local copy (remoteBoot), always booting locally (localBoot), trying the network with local fallback (localAsBackup), to only updating the local image when the network copy is newer (remoteNewUpdate/localAutoUpdate). Only localBoot(3) and localAsBackup(4) apply to agents with the local-load option.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.2.6.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SYNOPTICS-COMMON-MIB::s3LocImageLoadMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.2.6.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SYNOPTICS-COMMON-MIB::s3LocImageLoadMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.2.6.4.1 i <value>
