s3AgentConfigLoadMode

Module: SYNOPTICS-COMMON-MIB

OID (symbolic): SYNOPTICS-COMMON-MIB::s3AgentConfigLoadMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.2.1.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This indicates whether the agent should get configuration data from the network, use the local configuration data, or try the network first and then fall back to local configuration if the network load fails. This object applies only to agents with boot prom support for agent configuration load options.

This parameter will not take effect until written into EEPROM (s3AgentWriteEeprom) and a reset (s3AgentReset) is issued.

What is s3AgentConfigLoadMode?

Read-write enumerated setting choosing how the agent obtains its configuration at boot: remoteConfig(2) from the network, localConfig(3) from stored local data, or localAsBackup(4) to try the network first and fall back locally on failure. Only applies to agents with boot-prom config-load support, and takes effect only after writing to EEPROM and a reset.

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.2.1.17
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SYNOPTICS-COMMON-MIB::s3AgentConfigLoadMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.2.1.17.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SYNOPTICS-COMMON-MIB::s3AgentConfigLoadMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.1.2.1.17.1 i <value>
