Module: SW-MIB
OID (symbolic): SW-MIB::swIDIDMode
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.2.1.1.1.2.11
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER

Description: Status of Insistent Domain ID (IDID) mode. Status indicating IDID mode is enabled or not.
What is swIDIDMode?
Reports whether Insistent Domain ID (IDID) mode is enabled on the switch, a feature that makes the switch always try to reclaim its previously used domain ID rather than accept a different one assigned by the fabric. Admins check this on switches where domain ID stability matters, e.g. because zoning or scripts reference the domain ID directly.
