Description: By setting this value to enable, trap destinations will be reconfigured. On some operating systems like Windows/NT this will cause the SNMP agent to restart.

What is svrTrapReconfigureEvent?

This write-only value, when set to enable(1), forces the agent to reload its trap-destination configuration, which on some operating systems (like Windows NT) causes the SNMP agent itself to restart. An admin writes enable(1) after updating trap community/destination entries to make the new configuration take effect.
