What is alertLevel?

This object indicates how severe a storage-device alert is, ranging from clear(0) meaning the condition has resolved, through minor, major, and critical, up to down(4) for a failed/offline device. An operator uses it to triage incoming storage alerts, for example paging someone immediately for a critical(3) or down(4) alert but logging a minor(1) one for later review. For example, alertLevel reporting down(4) alongside a specific componentId would mean that storage component has failed outright and needs urgent attention.
