Module: STN-SYSTEM-MIB
OID (symbolic): STN-SYSTEM-MIB::stnTimeSource
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.4.1.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: Specifies which sources the system should use attempting to obtain the current time.
What is stnTimeSource?
This specifies which source or sources the system attempts to use to obtain the current time: an internal clock, an external NTP server, an external RFC-868 time server, or all of the above. Admins set this to control how the ETS synchronizes its clock, which matters for accurate log correlation across a fleet of devices. The default value of all(4) means the system will try every configured time source rather than relying on just one.
