stnNTPServer
Module: STN-SYSTEM-MIB
OID (symbolic): STN-SYSTEM-MIB::stnNTPServer
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.4.1.1.5
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: IpAddress
Access: read-only
Description: If an RFC-868 server is to be used as a time source this value specifies the IP address of the server to query.
What is stnNTPServer?
Despite its name, this object's description identifies it as the IP address of the RFC-868 time server the system should query when that time source is configured (the source MIB's descriptions for this object and stnRFC868Server appear to be swapped). Admins set it to point at the appropriate time server for the querying protocol this table entry configures. As an illustrative example, setting it to 10.0.0.2 directs that time-source query to that server's address.
