stnResourceFailure
Module: STN-CHASSIS-MIB
OID (symbolic): STN-CHASSIS-MIB::stnResourceFailure
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.100.0.11
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description:
A stnResourceFailure trap signifies that the agent entity has detected that a chassis resource object has transitioned out of the ok(2) state to one of the alarm states. The generation of this trap can be controlled by the ResourceTraps configuration object.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' STN-CHASSIS-MIB::stnResourceFailure snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.100.0.11
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:56257->[192.168.30.10]:162]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (478554561) 55 days, 9:19:05.61 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: STN-CHASSIS-MIB::stnResourceFailure
