stnPowerFailure
Module: STN-CHASSIS-MIB
OID (symbolic): STN-CHASSIS-MIB::stnPowerFailure
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.100.0.55
Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE
Description:
A stnPowerFailure trap signifies that the agent entity has detected that the stnPowerStatus object in the STN-CHASSIS-MIB has transitioned out of present(2) state for one of its connections. The generation of this trap can be controlled by the PowerTraps configuration object.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' STN-CHASSIS-MIB::stnPowerFailure snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.100.0.55
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
Example snmptrapd log entry:
zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:56028->[192.168.30.10]:162]: DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (66838748) 7 days, 17:39:47.48 SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: STN-CHASSIS-MIB::stnPowerFailure
