Description:
A stnFlashFailure trap signifies that the agent entity has detected that the stnFlashStatus object in the STN-CHASSIS-MIB has transitioned out of the ok(2) state to one of the disfunctional states. The generation of this trap can be controlled by the FlashTraps configuration object.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' STN-CHASSIS-MIB::stnFlashFailure snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.100.0.10
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
