Description:

A stnBatteryLow trap signifies that the agent entity has detected that the stnBatteryStatus object in the STN-CHASSIS-MIB has transitioned to the low(3) state for one of its batteries. The generation of this trap can be controlled by the BatteryTraps configuration object.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' STN-CHASSIS-MIB::stnBatteryLow
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3551.2.100.0.9

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
