Module: STN-BGP-MIB
OID (symbolic): STN-BGP-MIB::stnBgpSelectedPathCount

Description: Number of paths selected for route table installation.
What is stnBgpSelectedPathCount?
This counts the number of BGP paths that were actually chosen by best-path selection for installation into the router's forwarding/route table. Admins compare this to stnBgpPathCount to see how much of the received path information is actually being used versus held as backup. If selectedPathCount is much lower than pathCount, most received paths are being kept only as alternates, not installed.
