inpAlarmState
Module: STE2-MIB
OID (symbolic): STE2-MIB::inpAlarmState
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.21796.4.9.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: InputAlarmState
Access: read-only
Description: The binary input alarm state.
What is inpAlarmState?
This value indicates whether a binary input is currently in its normal state or in an alarm condition. This is the field admins actually watch or trap on to detect problems, since the raw input value alone does not say whether on or off is expected for that particular input. For example, inpAlarmState = alarm(1) on the "Server Room Door" input tells the admin the door has been left open past its configured threshold.
