tftpImageNumber

Module: SONOMASYSTEMS-SONOMA-IPAPPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): SONOMASYSTEMS-SONOMA-IPAPPS-MIB::tftpImageNumber

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2926.25.8.1.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The Image number (1 - 8) for the operational image file to be downloaded to. In the case of BOOTP the image will be stored in the BOOTP/ directory in flash

What is tftpImageNumber?

This read-write enumerated value, image1 through image8 with a default of image1, selects which of up to eight image slots a downloaded operational image is stored to; for BOOTP transfers, the image is stored in the BOOTP/ directory in flash. Admins select a specific image slot to keep multiple firmware versions available on the device simultaneously. For example, an admin sets this to image2(2) to download a new firmware build into the second image slot, preserving the current image1 as a fallback.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2926.25.8.1.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SONOMASYSTEMS-SONOMA-IPAPPS-MIB::tftpImageNumber

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2926.25.8.1.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SONOMASYSTEMS-SONOMA-IPAPPS-MIB::tftpImageNumber.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2926.25.8.1.1.3.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> tftpImageNumber.1
