What is atmE1ConfTxClockSelect?
This read-write value, defaulting to internal(1), selects whether the E1 interface's transmit clock is generated internal(1)ly or recovered(2) from the received signal. An admin sets this to recovered(2) when this interface must synchronize its timing to an upstream network clock source rather than free-running on its own internal oscillator. For example, setting atmE1ConfTxClockSelect to recovered(2) on a circuit connected to a carrier's timed E1 service ensures this interface stays clock-synchronized with the carrier network.
