Description: Current temperature in degrees Celsius.
What is preTemperature?
This object reports the current operating temperature, in degrees Celsius, of the pre-amplifier stage in this EDFA sequence. Admins monitor this since EDFA amplifiers are temperature-sensitive and excessive heat can degrade gain performance or shorten component lifespan. A preTemperature value rising above the equipment's normal operating range would prompt the admin to check cooling or ventilation around that amplifier module.
