What is postPowerGainValue?
This object reports the optical gain, in dBm, applied by the post-amplifier (booster) stage of this EDFA sequence, following the pre-amplifier and any multiplexing stage. Admins monitor this to confirm the outgoing signal is being boosted to the expected launch power before transmission onto the long-haul fiber span. A gain value lower than expected here would suggest the post-amplifier is underperforming, potentially reducing the achievable transmission distance.
