rptrAddrSearchStatus

Module: SNMP-REPEATER-MIB

OID (symbolic): SNMP-REPEATER-MIB::rptrAddrSearchStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.22.3.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to indicate that some management station is currently using this rptrAddrSearchEntry. Cooperating managers should set this object to 'notInUse' when they are finished using this entry. The agent will automatically set the value of this object to 'notInUse' if it has been set to 'inUse' for an unusually long period of time.

What is rptrAddrSearchStatus?

Indicates whether this repeater's address-search entry is currently claimed (inUse) or free (notInUse); a management station must see notInUse before it can take the lock, and the agent auto-resets a stuck inUse entry after an abnormally long hold.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.22.3.1.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SNMP-REPEATER-MIB::rptrAddrSearchStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.22.3.1.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SNMP-REPEATER-MIB::rptrAddrSearchStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.22.3.1.1.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> rptrAddrSearchStatus.1
