nnsnmpTrapRcvrEntryStatus
Module: SNMP-MIB
OID (symbolic): SNMP-MIB::nnsnmpTrapRcvrEntryStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.73.1.1.1.5.1.4.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The status of the SNMP trap-receive table entry. By default, the value is set to valid when a new entry is created. When a network management station is deleted from the table the value of the parameter is set to invalid.
What is nnsnmpTrapRcvrEntryStatus?
This read-write object reports and controls the status of an SNMP trap-receiver table entry: valid(1) by default when created, or invalid(2) once the corresponding management station is deleted. An admin sets this to invalid(2) to effectively remove a trap destination from active use, or relies on it being set automatically when a receiver is deleted from the table. Setting this object to invalid(2) for a decommissioned NMS stops the agent from continuing to send traps to that address.
