Read-only role of this management channel: primary(2) for the local OS interface, secondary(3) for the local management-controller LAN, management-blade(4) for a blade-chassis controller, or baseboard-controller(7) for a BMC. Lets an admin distinguish, in a system with multiple management paths, which specific channel a given interfaceParametersTable row describes.
