Description: The total number of cells dropped by the slot due to congestion conditions in the switching fabric.
What is amonSlotDroppedCells?
Counts cells the slot itself discarded because the switching fabric was congested at the moment they arrived. Unlike bad-HEC errors this is a capacity problem, not a wiring problem, so an admin seeing this counter climb under load would look at rebalancing traffic across slots or adding bandwidth rather than swapping hardware.
