Description: This variable always reports value = 1. Setting it to 2 results in an adapter reset, after which it will contain value = 1 again.

What is smcDosWsRst?

Always reads back a value of 1 under normal conditions; setting it to 2 triggers a reset of the network adapter, after which it returns to reporting 1 again. Use this to remotely reset a workstation's network card without physically touching the machine.
