hlAggrL1Behaviour

Module: SIAE-HITLESS-AGGRL1-MIB

OID (symbolic): SIAE-HITLESS-AGGRL1-MIB::hlAggrL1Behaviour

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.3373.1103.98.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Every radio link is considered working in three separate ZONEs: GOOD ZONE: When it is working between the HITLESS profile (included) and the UPPER profile (included) HITLESS ZONE: When it is working between the LOWER profile (included) and the HITLESS profile (excluded) BAD ZONE: When the modem is unlocked

HITLESS profile (one for each radio link) is last profile that is considered good for L1 aggregation.

NE is in charge to select which of the links that are working into the HITLESS ZONE participate in L1 aggregation. The decision is taken according to three possible behaviors:

hlAggrL1AllSurvive(1): All links remain used by aggregator when working into the HITLESS ZONE. hlAggrL1OneSurvive(2): When NO link is working into the GOOD ZONE, the last link entered into the HITLESS ZONE continues to be used by the aggregator hlAggrL1NoneSurvive(3): Each link is removed from aggregation when working into the HITLESS ZONE

What is hlAggrL1Behaviour?

This read-write value defines how the network element decides which radio links working in the HITLESS zone (between the lower and HITLESS profile) stay part of a Layer 1 aggregation group, with hlAggrL1AllSurvive(1) keeping all such links, hlAggrL1OneSurvive(2) keeping only the last one to enter that zone when no link is in the good zone, and hlAggrL1NoneSurvive(3) dropping every link once it enters the HITLESS zone; the default is AllSurvive. Admins choose the behavior that balances aggregate capacity against link reliability during radio signal degradation. For example, setting hlAggrL1Behaviour to hlAggrL1NoneSurvive(3) means any radio link that degrades into the HITLESS zone is immediately pulled out of the aggregation group rather than kept in service.
