Description: The maximum number of octets that may be written to any seeLogChunk object created on behalf of this entry. An application should limit the value of this object in order to prevent a 'tooBig' SNMP PDU error to be generated for get requests of the seeLogChunk object.
The agent must not create entries larger than this number of octets in the seeLogTable on behalf of this entry. Note that an agent may choose to fragment log entries at values lower than indicated by this object.
This object may not be modified if the associated seeTaskControlStatus object is equal to active.
What is seeTaskControlMaxLogChunkSize?
This caps, in octets (255-65535), the size of any single log-chunk entry the agent creates for this task, to avoid a 'tooBig' SNMP error when a management station retrieves seeLogChunk. Admins lower this if their SNMP management tool has a smaller PDU size limit than the agent's default chunking.
