Module: SEE-MIB

OID (symbolic): SEE-MIB::seeTaskControlLastSEOffset

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.99999.61.1.3.1.1.26

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: The offset position within the associated smCodeText OCTET STRING in which the first script syntax error was found during the execution of the associated script.

If no syntax error has been detected, or if a particular script has not yet been executed by the agent, then this object will contain the value '-1'.

Otherwise, this object identifies the number of octets into the script code string identified by the associated seeTaskControlLastSEIndex object.

Note that position of the first octet in the string is identified by the value '0', not the value '1'.

What is seeTaskControlLastSEOffset?

This is the character offset (0-based, or -1 if no error) within the script chunk identified by seeTaskControlLastSEIndex where the first syntax error was found. Admins use this to pinpoint precisely which character in the script source triggered a parse failure.
