analogAlarmLOLO

Module: SCTE-HMS-PROPERTY-MIB

OID (symbolic): SCTE-HMS-PROPERTY-MIB::analogAlarmLOLO

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5591.1.1.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: The LOLO (Major alarm)alarm occurs at this value. The unit associated with this property is the same as that of the parameter addressed. This object should be kept in NV memory.

Some devices only require 16 bit integer or smaller and therefore only support 16 bit (or smaller) values. Values outside of the supported range will return a bad value error.

What is analogAlarmLOLO?

This read-write Integer32 sets the threshold at which a LOLO, or major, alarm fires when the monitored analog parameter falls critically low. An admin configures this as the last-resort low limit for a parameter, distinct from and below the LO minor threshold, in the parameter's own engineering units. For example, setting analogAlarmLOLO to 5 on an input-voltage row triggers a major alarm the moment the supply voltage drops below 5, indicating a serious power problem.
