analogAlarmHI

Module: SCTE-HMS-PROPERTY-MIB

OID (symbolic): SCTE-HMS-PROPERTY-MIB::analogAlarmHI

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5591.1.1.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: The HI (Minor alarm)alarm occurs at this value. The unit associated with this property is the same as that of the parameter addressed. This object should be kept in NV memory.

Some devices only require 16 bit integer or smaller and therefore only support 16 bit (or smaller) values. Values outside of the supported range will return a bad value error.

What is analogAlarmHI?

This read-write Integer32 sets the threshold at which a HI, or minor, alarm is raised for the analog parameter that this propertyTable row is tracking. It lets an admin define an early-warning level below the HIHI major threshold, in the same units as the monitored value, and smaller devices with only 16-bit support may reject writes outside their range. For example, setting analogAlarmHI to 80 on a voltage-monitoring row flags a minor alarm once the voltage climbs past 80, well before the HIHI major threshold trips.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5591.1.1.1.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SCTE-HMS-PROPERTY-MIB::analogAlarmHI

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5591.1.1.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SCTE-HMS-PROPERTY-MIB::analogAlarmHI.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5591.1.1.1.1.5.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> analogAlarmHI.1
