Description: A general object used for SNMP-TRAPS. Notice that this object for newer products is obsolete and replaced by unique TRAP's.
What is cause?
A generic text field carried in older SNMP trap notifications describing the cause of an event, superseded on newer products by dedicated, uniquely-named traps with their own objects.
