Description: The number of signalling packets dropped for the RTP session
What is salixRtpStatsSignalPktsDropped?
This counter tracks the number of signalling packets dropped for a specific RTP session. A rising count can indicate call-control issues distinct from media quality problems, such as difficulty establishing or modifying a call. For example, an admin seeing dropped signalling packets on a session experiencing call setup failures would suspect network loss is affecting the signalling path specifically.
