sgcpUdpPortNumber

Module: SALIX-MGMCP-MIB

OID (symbolic): SALIX-MGMCP-MIB::sgcpUdpPortNumber

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2158.5.1.2.1.2.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The local UDP port for SGCP to use. This port cannot be changed dynamically. Any new value written to this objects will take affect after the system is restarted. When the system starts up again, the last value written to this object is used as the local UDP port for SGCP

What is sgcpUdpPortNumber?

This sets the local UDP port the gateway uses for SGCP signaling, though the change only takes effect after the system is restarted rather than immediately. An admin configures this to change which port SGCP listens on, and must plan for a device restart to apply the new value since it can't be changed dynamically. For example, setting this to 2427 and then restarting the system would make the gateway use port 2427 for SGCP from that point on.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2158.5.1.2.1.2.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> SALIX-MGMCP-MIB::sgcpUdpPortNumber

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2158.5.1.2.1.2.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> SALIX-MGMCP-MIB::sgcpUdpPortNumber.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2158.5.1.2.1.2.1.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> sgcpUdpPortNumber.1
