Description: This value contols whether an Heartbeat (RTE-ARTE transaction) is sent to the primary media controller. enable - send the heartbeat disable - don't send the heartbeat
What is ipdcHeartbeatPrimaryEnable?
This enables or disables sending heartbeat transactions to the primary media controller. An admin disables this only in unusual circumstances, since heartbeats are normally how the gateway confirms its primary controller connection remains healthy. For example, setting this to disabled would stop the gateway from sending RTE-ARTE heartbeats to its primary controller, losing that liveness check.
