Module: SAF-IPRADIO
OID (symbolic): SAF-IPRADIO::ethTXPauseFrames
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.7571.100.1.1.5.1.3.2.23
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter
Access: read-only
Description: Number of frames transmitted (Tx) as control frames with valid PAUSE opcodes since the last unit (re)start or purification of statistics.
What is ethTXPauseFrames?
This counter tracks the number of valid IEEE 802.3x PAUSE control frames transmitted since the last unit (re)start or purification of statistics. A rising count means this unit is asking the connected device to pause transmission because of its own congestion or buffering pressure. An admin checks this unit's own load and buffer utilization if it's generating pause frames frequently.
