Module: RMON2-MIB

OID (symbolic): RMON2-MIB::serialStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.19.10.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-create

Description: The status of this serialConfigEntry.

An entry may not exist in the active state unless all objects in the entry have an appropriate value.

What is serialStatus?

This read-write row status value controls whether a serial configuration entry is active, inactive, or being created/deleted. Engineers use this to enable, disable, or remove serial interface configurations without affecting other settings. For example, setting to "createAndGo" creates an entry and immediately activates it.
