The source of data for the this protocol distribution.
The statistics in this group reflect all packets on the local network segment attached to the identified interface.
This object may not be modified if the associated protocolDistControlStatus object is equal to active(1).
What is protocolDistControlDataSource?
This field specifies which network interface or port the probe should listen on for protocol distribution statistics. The probe collects packet counts for each protocol only from traffic on this designated interface. Changing this field allows monitoring different network segments without recreating the entire tracking configuration.
