Module: RMON2-MIB

OID (symbolic): RMON2-MIB::hlMatrixControlStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.15.1.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-create

Description: The status of this hlMatrixControlEntry.

An entry may not exist in the active state unless all objects in the entry have an appropriate value.

If this object is not equal to active(1), all associated entries in the nlMatrixSDTable, nlMatrixDSTable, alMatrixSDTable, and alMatrixDSTable shall be deleted by the agent.

What is hlMatrixControlStatus?

This object controls whether this monitoring entry is active, inactive, or being created (read-write); deactivating it deletes all associated traffic flow data. Engineers use this to enable or disable monitoring without deleting the configuration, and to clean up stale entries. Changing status from inactive to active resumes data collection.
