Description:
An index that uniquely identifies an entry in the matrixControl table. Each such entry defines a function that discovers conversations on a particular interface and places statistics about them in the matrixSDTable and the matrixDSTable on behalf of this matrixControlEntry.
What is matrixControlIndex?
This OID stores a unique identifier that points to a traffic analysis rule for a particular network interface. It identifies which conversation statistics (traffic between two devices) should be collected and stored in monitoring tables. A network analyst would reference this when setting up remote monitoring to track bandwidth usage between specific pairs of devices on the network.
