What is hostTimeOutErrors?

This counter measures the cumulative number of bad or malformed packets transmitted by a specific host station since it was added to RMON monitoring tables. Network analysts use this metric to identify hosts with faulty network drivers or hardware causing transmission errors. Rising values on a particular host indicate potential network card degradation or configuration issues.
