Description:
An index that uniquely identifies an entry in the captureBuffer table associated with a particular bufferControlEntry. This index will start at 1 and increase by one for each new packet added with the same captureBufferControlIndex.
Should this value reach 2147483647, the next packet added with the same captureBufferControlIndex shall cause this value to wrap around to 1.
What is captureBufferIndex?
This read-only index uniquely identifies each packet stored in a capture buffer used for remote network monitoring and packet analysis. The index starts at 1 and increments for each new packet captured, wrapping around when it reaches its maximum value. Network analysts use this to reference and retrieve specific captured packets for detailed protocol analysis.
