Module: RIVERSTONE-IMAGE-MIB
OID (symbolic): RIVERSTONE-IMAGE-MIB::rsImageMibAction
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5567.2.13.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: The action to be performed. For example, addImageToAgent uses tftp to transfer the image from a tftp server to the agent. Default value is no operation, called noop.
What is rsImageMibAction?
This object selects which firmware image management action to perform: noop(1, the default), addImageToAgent(2, TFTP-transfer an image to the device), deleteImageFromAgent(3), or chooseImageOnAgent(4, select the active image for next reboot). Admins set this together with rsImageMibActivateTransfer and other parameters to initiate an image transfer or selection operation. Setting this to addImageToAgent(2) along with the TFTP server address and image name begins downloading a new firmware image onto the switch's flashcard.
