cfgRingExceptNes
Module: RING-MIB
OID (symbolic): RING-MIB::cfgRingExceptNes
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.4.7.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: Comma separated list of IP address that are physically present on the ring but no connections are allowed to be setup. This is useful for traffic management where there is a bandwidth crunch on the ring. But some of the NEs on that particular ring have alternate paths through the other rings.
What is cfgRingExceptNes?
A comma-separated list of IP addresses for network elements that physically sit on this ring but should never have new connections routed through them, useful for temporarily excluding congested nodes that already have alternate paths via other rings.
Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.4.7.1.7 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> RING-MIB::cfgRingExceptNes
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.4.7.1.7.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> RING-MIB::cfgRingExceptNes.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.4.7.1.7.1 s <value>
