x25Restart

Module: RFC1382-MIB

OID (symbolic): RFC1382-MIB::x25Restart

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.5.0.1

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description:

This trap means the X.25 PLE sent or received a restart packet. The restart that brings up the link should not send a x25Restart trap so the interface should send a linkUp trap. Sending this trap means the agent does not send a linkDown and linkUp trap.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' RFC1382-MIB::x25Restart
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.5.0.1

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:52701->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (112255965) 12 days, 23:49:19.65
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: RFC1382-MIB::x25Restart
