What Is RC-ERROR-MIB?

RC-ERROR-MIB is a Bay Networks/Nortel Rapid-City Group proprietary MIB for the Accelar switch-router product family, reporting Rapid-City software error events. Its objects cover error level, error code, human-readable error text, a return code, and a send-trap flag. As a notification MIB it lets an administrator receive a coded, leveled error report from the Rapid-City software stack and match it to the accompanying human-readable text for diagnosis. It is deployed on Nortel/Bay Networks Accelar switch-routers running Rapid-City software. Engineers can download the RC-ERROR-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in RC-ERROR-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor.
