rbnCesCfgPktLatency

Module: RBN-CES-MIB

OID (symbolic): RBN-CES-MIB::rbnCesCfgPktLatency

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2352.2.56.1.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-create

Description: This object specifies the time of packetizing frames into a packet. The packet latency is calculated by multiplying number of frames by a constant frame packetization time(125 microseconds). The system packetizes 8 frames into a packet by default

What is rbnCesCfgPktLatency?

Sets, in microseconds, how long the CES circuit waits to packetize TDM frames before sending — calculated as the number of frames times the 125-microsecond frame time, with the system packetizing 8 frames (1000us) by default — so raising it trades latency for fewer, larger packets.
