Description: The name of the bridge access control list associated with the binding. It is the name of the Access control list to be applied to the session. The access control list must already have been configured in the context of the session peer. This is typically used to filter packets so that only PPPoE traffic is allowed through an Ethernet L2TP tunnel.
Specification of this column for a given entry is optional.
This object is applicable only when one of the following rbnBindType values is specified:
sessionBind
If the value of rbnBindType is not one of these bind types, then rbnBindAcl is not instantiated for this entry.
What is rbnBindAcl?
This optional SnmpAdminString (1-64 chars) names the bridge access control list applied to the session, applicable only when rbnBindType is sessionBind, and the referenced ACL must already exist in the peer's context. It's typically used to filter traffic so only PPPoE frames pass through an Ethernet L2TP tunnel binding. For example, an admin binding a circuit as sessionBind might set rbnBindAcl to "pppoe-only-filter" to block non-PPPoE traffic on that tunnel.
