Module: RADLAN-rlIPMulticast-MIB

OID (symbolic): RADLAN-rlIPMulticast-MIB::rlIpmRouterEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.89.46.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The enabled status of IP Multicast routing on this router.

What is rlIpmRouterEnable?

This value toggles whether IP multicast routing is active on this router. Admins must set this before configuring PIM or IGMP features, since multicast forwarding won't function device-wide until it's enabled. For example, setting this to enabled(1) is the first step before rolling out IPTV or multicast video conferencing across the network.
